The Strength Lies in Her

The StrongHer Society is a government certified, student-led, non-profit organization based in Vancouver, BC, Canada that strives to provide a society which aims to empower women and educate youth for gender equality. We aim to target topics such as mental health, participation in sports, and physical rights/health. We provide women with support and hope to create a safe and welcoming local community.

The StrongHer Society Founded

Established as a government certified, student-led, non-profit organization in Vancouver, BC, dedicated to empowering women and promoting gender equality.

First Fundraising Initiative

September

Launched our first mini fundraising event with Cartems Donuts, establishing our commitment to community support and creative fundraising approaches.
Key Achievements:
Raised $250 in first mini fundraiser
Sold 10 boxes of donated donuts
Established community partnerships


Official Krispy Kreme Partnership

Partnered with Krispy Kreme for our first official fundraiser supporting GirlsCan Rugby, marking a significant milestone in our fundraising capabilities.

Raised $2,590+ for GirlsCan Rugby
Sold 120 boxes of dozen donuts
Operated in 3 locations simultaneously


Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign

Organized a special Krispy Kreme fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, demonstrating our commitment to women’s health causes.
